One of the most amazing things I get to see where I live are the wild hares.
I've made this fused glass picture of two boxing hares set in a hand turned wooden frame. The frame has been made by Keith Allen of Peedie Box Company.
This is the first of my poppy tealight collection. This has been made from a piece of glass measuring 14.5cm by 14.5cm. This tealight can be bought via my Folksy Shop.

The tourist season is nearly here, and so the puffins must come out to greet our visitors. Here is one of the cheeky little chaps who will be greeting our visitors this year.
Today I was visited by a few puffins in my garden. These puffins will be for sale in my shop and also available in Polly Kettle tea room and the Orkney Arts and Crafts Summer Exhibition.
I love looking out to sea and watching the waves and boats. There is something wild and magical about it. This gave me the inspiration for my fused glass ocean view picture.
